関係代名詞にthatしか使えない先行詞
関係代名詞にthatしか使えない先行詞って、どういうことですか！？
確か、関係代名詞ってwho, which, whom, thatとかがあるんですよね！
そそ！そうなんです。で、主格と目的格であれば基本的にthatが使えるはずなんです。
動物と人の区別はしなくていいんですか？？

これらは、すべて上下の文で書き換えが可能です。
人でも物でも主格・目的格であれば関係代名詞をthatにすることができます。
逆に言えば、whoとwhichも使えるしthatでもどっちでもいいということなんですが、中には thatしか使えない先行詞があるのです。
whoやwhichが全く使えないわけではないのですが、thatのほうが好まれます。

非制限用法

非制限用法とはつまり、, which や, whoになるときでしたね。この場合は,thatは使えないので注意しましょう。
